A465 Fencing – Sections 5 & 6

GT Jones Contracting Ltd is proud to have been the sole fencing contractor on the A465 Heads of the Valleys project, Sections 5&6.Spanning 17km, this phase of the project required extensive fencing expertise to ensure security, durability, and environmental compliance.

Our team, including nine highly skilled employees, all holding FISS (Fencing Industry Skills Scheme), ensured the highest standard of workmanship throughout.As an NHSS 2A & NHSS 2C accredited contractor, we adhered to strict quality and safety requirements for the installation of highway fencing and environmental barriers. Our use of state-of-the-art equipment and compliance with National Highways Sector Scheme (NHSS) standards ensured that all fencing works were delivered safely on time, and within budget.

Types of Fencing Completed

GT Jones Contracting Ltd successfully delivered the full fencing package for the project, including:

• Close-board Fencing – Ensuring privacy and security for adjacent landowners.
• H15/H3 Post and Rail Fencing – Offering durable and visually suitable roadside fencing.
• 1.8m/2.4m Palisade – Providing high-security fencing for key infrastructure areas.
• 1m High Kee Clamp Guard Rail – Protecting pedestrian walkways.
• 3km of Environmental Barrier Installation – Supply and install to designs provided by the client. A critical feature to reduce noise pollution and protect local ecosystems.

Outcomes
